King Olav V of Norway (center) was full of Royal dignity but still curious when he met Indian dignitaries in Northern Minnesota during his visit in April 1968. I was a student at Macalester College, St. Paul, Minnesota at the time and travelled with him in the state.The King toured the United States as he did many times, primarily to meet with Americans of Norwegian ancestry. King Olav died the 17th of January 1991.
